Falling In Love In Autumn
It is beautiful this time of year in New Jersey - I love the smell of leaves falling and the way the wind refreshes every scent. This is a great time to go hiking - if it wasn't a first date that is....first dates and hiking - NO - don't do it! Don't fall into temptation!
There are many other late Autumn options in New Jersey - such as village hopping - many small towns are starting to bloom into the Christmas season - the shops are brightly decorated and the parking is still available, thus forgoing all of the parallel parking stress! Find your neighborhood downtown - stop in for a coffee - find a nook for lunch - enjoy a car ride to an out-of-the-way town like Lambertville or Princeton - all of these towns offer a great walking scape and lovely places to relax.
Another great Autumn adventure for dating Jersey style - is to visit a Crafters Market - it's a great place to walk around indoors - the vendors are usually prepared to talk and share - making for a very comfortable venue for getting to know each other.
Autumn is also a great time to introduce your date to family - before the holiday approaches...make a harvest-baked pie together - it will make for fun discussion over tea and pie at Grandma's house....yummy!
Looking forward to my winter escapes - focusing on single w/children - I found a great place in New Hampshire with a 20-person sleigh...very quaint!
Bountiful Courting!
Eileen
